Karen Day is a Registered Social Worker and is the Director of Daybreak Therapy and Training – an integrative psychotherapy clinic and training centre located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Karen specializes in mindfulness-based and strategic therapy approaches for the treatment of anxiety disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). She has over twenty years of social work experience in the mental health and clinician teaching fields combined. Karen has taught mindfulness education and/or holistic therapy practices to both teachers and service providers through a range of teaching institutions including: Global Mind Body; Hincks Dellcrest Centre; the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH); the Ontario Division of Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis; the Children’s Aid Society; Canadian Reiki Association; and the Ontario English Speaking Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA).
